Terms of Service

Rules for using MemDecks

These terms describe the practical rules for accounts, learning content, games, third-party integrations, and support.

Last updated: June 2026

These terms are draft business terms for review before production legal reliance.

Using the service

memdecks provides language-learning tools including translation, flashcards, libraries, and games. You agree to use the service lawfully, respectfully, and only in ways that do not interfere with other users or the operation of the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Some features may work as a guest, but signed-in accounts are required for synced cards and some game experiences.

Learning content

Translations, examples, images, audio, and game content are provided to support learning. They may contain errors or omissions and should not be treated as professional translation, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice.

Third-party games

memdecks may display, embed, link to, or enable access to games created or operated by independent developers. Unless a game is clearly identified as first-party, the developer is responsible for that game's content, assets, code, claims, gameplay, and legal compliance.

memdecks may review, reject, suspend, remove, or disable games at any time. Report concerns through Contact. More detail is available on the Third-Party Games page.

Developer submissions

Developers who submit or operate games for memdecks must have the rights to their content, avoid illegal or harmful material, protect user data, follow integration requirements, and accept the applicable developer agreement or onboarding rules before listing.

Service changes

memdecks may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We may also remove content or accounts that violate these terms, create risk, or harm the product experience.

Liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, memdecks is not responsible for indirect losses, learning outcomes, third-party content, third-party game behavior, or issues outside our reasonable control.
